Start-up grant of the KfW (Development Loan Corporation)
Up to three years after they first started their business, founders are able to receive financing for capital investments and production facilities at favorable conditions.
Founders of a new business can be supported if they have professional qualifications and expert knowledge. The sum total of the outside capital needed may not exceed 50,000 Euros.

Founders’ Coaching
A founders’ coaching is appropriate for entrepreneurs in the start-up phase of their business. The founding or takeover may not have occurred more than five years ago. We cannot offer coachings before the actual founding of a business.
Businessmen and -women are able to consult a business consultant over a period of 12 months. This coach assists them in preparing for financing talks and will answer your organizational and economical questions.

Founder’s subvention for corporate consultants
Future founders who are currently unemployed are able to gain a subvention for founding. This subvention addresses founders living on unemployment benefits (ALG I, not: ALG II) and intend to found a company.
The founder’s subvention: support in two steps:
In sum, the support lasts 15 months. This period is divided in two phases:
- Phase 1: Within the first 9 months after starting-up the founders obtain benefits in full amount of their individual unemployment benefits. Additianally, there is 300 Euro monthly allowance to pay for compulsory social insurance.
- Phase 2: After this time has elapsed (first 9 months), a second phase of benefiting for additional 6 months starts. Within this period of time, only the allowance for social insurance is extended, while the unemployment benefits are not. For this phase to start, the founders must prove their business activity and their full-time entrepreneurial activities.
For ALG-II-beneficiaries: a grant to re-engage in the job market
If you need money in order to re-enter the job market and start your own business, a grant can be given.
While being gainfully employed, this money will be paid over a maximum period of 24 months. In order to determine the amount of the grant, the duration of the unemployment and the number of members of a household in need of benefit (German legal term: Bedarfsgemeinschaft) are considered.
Unemployed people who are fit to work and run resp. plan to run their own businesses are able to gain additional loans and benefits for the acquisition of property necessary to work freelance.
